TFI's mission is to identify degraded, neglected or abandoned properties or sites and pursue public officials, civic organizations or applicable parties to form a "turnaround" plan to turn them around into prideful community assets.

The resources and talents of TFI and its board are presently being directed solely toward the rescue and rehabilitation of a 25 acre waterfront area within Great Kills Harbor, Staten Island.
